Buy the hardware cheap, but then you get fucked over on the replacement parts. In the case of printer ink (HP's success story) you get fucked over for life buying 1 oz. of black ink for approx $25.

now, you can buy generic ink for $8 and get away with it ...

so that being said...

Genuine Toyota Radiator = $750
Generic "Tollota" radiator = $150

the trick is to get the insurance company to pay the $3,500
