Chequesones enormes de cartulina and shiettt...
Nigga please... Fucked up priorities...
(you can thank Mrs. Patton for that argument, I agree with it).
I disagree. This is like the Saladino deal. Some things boost up the country's morale. I went to school and there was a money box going around for Margarita. Saw it on the street. Saw it at work.
People were actually excited about this shit.
For the country as a whole, that has a huge value even if you can't figure out how to put a number to it.
I got no problem with the morale boost, what I got a problem with is the priorities.
I just think it's a sad state of affairs that the people will jump at the chance to give money to help vote for a singer on a talent show, but not give a single cent for people all over this country that are living in shit conditions.
To me, it says "I care more about a morale boost and being able to party my ass off on Calle 50 and hope we get Monday off than I do about people who don't know how they're going to eat from here to Monday..."
It's clear that the country can be rallied around a cause, Saladino and Margarita have proven that. It's just sad to me that those are the ONLY causes that pull the people together like that.
