Fail Song

I tried to make it light and include some funny. Anyway, my professor told me to try writing poetry in Spanglish, and my first attempt is looking more like a salsa/merengue song. I fail. Help me make it suck less.

La food es vida

Can't live sin comida

But la soup ya no hay

Soldado spoon me a lie

Says the capitano:

'Estoy aqui for your good'

Answers the campechano:

'Por qué you take my food?'

My work es mi vida

Cuando la tierra es my own

Pero tuviste que come along

And now mi vida es done

Ahora tengo que work for you

So I can eat just migajas

Y encima de everything

You also took mi mujer

Y no hay nada que I can do

What´s left for me es pajas
